Never gonna see me cry the last goodbye

Well .. well I have been putting off that last post but here we go , before the 100 day challenge I was in a pretty down spot, after getting back from teacher training a put on a significant amount of weight and I had been gaining while I was working 60 hours weeks and stress plus the late night eating and huge amount of sleep deprevation = weight gain.Well just wanted to break down the main things that have changed over the past 100 days ,in the beginning I was rather fearful about being an intstructor and was wondering if I would ever make it into a job , i think at this time I taught 9 classes by this time, in January alone I was able to smash that amount and had really found my groove in teaching and it has become very comfortable teaching and it is always a challenge because you must teach differently depending on who is attending the class , for 6 am `s the majority of the people already know what to do so only small minor details are needed .

The whole job situation has changed a huge deal , I did drop my over night job before I left for Vegas and finally dropped my job at Safeway which had me unhappy for quite some time, coincidently I was rewarded with more classes then I could have imagined, the real decision of why I did quit safeway honestly came down to the money or happiness question and sure I would be saying goodbye to benefits and the fact because I was there for so long the raises came fairly fast and the amount kept going up , but there was very little mutual respect involved , in the end..... best decision I had made!

Putting yourself first is probably the number 1 thing I have learned from Biggest loser , but since qutting safeway I have had time to actually getting quality work outs in and room to take power naps in between to help me reach my full potential for work outs. Anyways crew this is only the beginning I am about to leave for Laos/Thailand and I plan to take advantage of healthier and non greasy food (the luxury of not having so many fast food places) and thanks to Jessica I will have P90x with me on my trip, I plan to really kick it into a second gear when I get back. Anyways thank you to all who have supported me through my journey, I will be starting a new blog shortly.

Day 100: Reaching the Century Mark!

Extreme final day of teaching on day 100, teaching 4 classes and the first day for the 100 day challengers, lots of positivity and lots of new faces , after a trip to the gym and the opening ceremony I was set to teach the hardest class of the week in terms of cardio and heat... the 90 minute hot flow. Class started off with some gentle stretching just to get the body adjusted to the heat and then it was ready to roll , started off the class with something very similar to javamukti and then we went on to do some loundges and lots.. lots of chattarungas before the second water break I challenged the class to take a three minute mediatation before getting started up again , started doing the option of one legged and people just started getting really tired so we did a little bit of dragon flow in the hot room to ease the tension. I had turned off the heat for a bit and turned on fresh air people were still down and there was still a good 30 minutes left, so I told everyone to take savasana and only at that moment I gave permission to go grab water if they would some ... 75% of the classes bolted and sure took their time getting back, the reminder of the class we just took advantage of the hard work we had done and just kept on the floor, it was really fun , I wonder what the future of 90 minute hot flow will hold, I would love to teach it again despite the heat and did receive lots of positive feedback. For the class at Donald I got to help out my good buddy Erica get over a not so great day , then came the celebration of us catching up of whats going on and lots of junk eating.... gooood times , finish off the night doing poses in the hot room and taking pics , what a rush!

The final shout out goes to the entire 100 day challenge crew, so just to make sure I don`t end up writing a novel , I will describe my relationship with the fellow member and then state current friendship or just something I ve learned about them that I did not know before hand.
In alphabetical order

Amelia: First saw her around the studio during the 30 day challenge and then later saw her on the printed out schedule doing her dancer`s pose at this point the only time we had really talked is when she came to my first yoga class and then we saw little of each other once the waverley studio opened.

Blythe: First thing I remember about my first encounter with Blythe was that I super shocked to hear how old her kid was, I thought she was my age (so congrats on the fountain of youth thing), our only other encounter was me serving her at safeway.

Carolyn: I don`t think even think we could be considered acquaintances at this point.

Colette: Already a good friend to me via Moksha and always one to have concern if I spend to much time in the hot room :)

Ella : Very little encounters while we energy excahngers

Erica : Super cool girl I met her on her first day in training saying hello Erica and Paula asked if we had already met , I said nope I just read the calendar :) ,we started talking more once we learned we had a mutual love for the o.c

Jessica: Very little talk prior to me leaving before Vegas and started sharing some decent laughs before the challenge begun, very cool how this is all started based on her facebook status

Joy: I only knew her as Emily`s babysitter , I don`t think we had spoken a word to each before the challenge.

Kendra: Another one of the friends that is part of the Colette circle that I did not know of prior to the challenge.

Kelly: Always full of energy ,I cannot picture this girl ever being mad

Lane:only talked to her moderately while she was an energy exchanger and was actually suprised to see she had returned to be apart of the studio

Lisa:Actually never spoke a word to each other , just awkward stair downs , yeah you know it Lisa!

Melanie:Was inspired that I joined this group of 100 day challengers that she invited herself in , at this point none of us knew who she was

Melissa: My first encounter with Miss Thang was in grade 9, would see each other randomly every 2 and half years or so and then started talking once this challenge has started

Mika:First encounter was when she was working a karma , we have casually talked since and have always enjoyed good laughs around the studio

Myriam: Super fun person to be around when we had energy exchange shifts on the same day , she was very happy when I finally was able to tie up the extension cord

Paula: First kind of started talking to her at pro aggresive fitness when we had a free week a boot camp during the 30 day challenge.

Sally: First met her through Colette, did not really know who she was prior to the challenge

During challenge

Amelia:Started becoming a regular attendee of my class and found out awesome that during the last stretch of the challenge I would see her everyday via both studios and also really really cool she got engage during challenge time.

Blythe: starting coming to many of my early mourning classes , always the second one out of savasana so she can rush to work , always great to have her there

Carolyn: I always have a good laugh with this girl around and she ended up becoming and energy exchanger , during the challenge so how cool is that! now I see her during the mournings after I teach

Colette:Just became that much closer with this friend always great to have her around ,I just don`t get to see her around the studio as much as I use to.

Ella: Very fun person to be around and I got to meet her baby... TWICE! Glad I got to talk to her more during this challenge

Erica: Had a not so great day final day of the challenge and then she took my class and told me she felt great , felt awesome to help a good friend

Jessica: Probably the person who has gone through the most change , very excited she got accepted into teacher training, prepare for tears my friend

Joy: Started talking to her around day 70 and beyond when she started regularly attending 6 am `s

Kendra: Very fun to be around and enjoy good laughs when she attended the 80s class

Kelly: Always see this girl upstairs either as an energy exchanger or doing ashtanga

Lane: I always see this one at least twice a week and is one of the few who is actually younger than me , Very awesome that she got her family involved in coming and overall a great person

Lisa: Probably I ve grown closest with when you consider the very first starting point , I think for classes attended with a fellow member she probably leads the way and very cool how she love the straight edge!... but not really

Melanie: Very cool how she was willing to donate an entire work of pay to the power of movement funraiser, a very hard worker and I still can`t believe she had four kids

Melissa: We talk wayyy more now compared to the grade 9 days , no more awkwards stare downs of hmmm i think I know this person... do they remember me? She pulled super brave to make her very first hot flow class my 90 minute

Mika: not to play favorite but probably the funnest person to work with at the desk , it seems nearly impossible that she lets stress get to her , plus it s always an opportunity to talk about her twin sister

Myriam: I do hope I see her around again

Paula: We now work out at the same gym and she always up for a good chat whenever were both at Donald.

Sally: I thought it was pretty funny at the beginning of the challenge she had fear of being fired as an energy exchanger

Final reflection will come soon , thanks for everyone who`s been reading my blog , but this is just the beginning!

Day 99: The Excelence of exsecution

Awesome start to my day ,I got to see Tom at Pan am and he really pushed me on stairs during this work out. Got to have a wicked nap after and then got a call from Ryann asking if I wanted to teach 90 minute hot flow , very excited I was considered to fill in which now brings day 100 to me teaching 5 classes in one day which will break my old record.Spent the rest of the day enjoying a good relaxing time and went on to do class with Sherri and taught the last 2 karma classes tonight, it was very fun and I ran into someone who had a crush on me in grade 5 , how random! and that was not a typo! The only little sour note I had is that I seem to have an annoying pain in my right shoulder which is more annoying then painful so I didn`t go to the gym today , we shall see if this is just a minor set back.

Special shout out go to the one and only Bunny, Christa Van Walleghem , one of my biggest supporters since I started going to Moksha , always carryimg a giant smile and had always been there to encourage me when it comes to setting fitness goals. Part of the reason why I actually started blogging was because of her , she sent me the site that would help me be more aware of my work outs and eating, I couldnt really stick to the fitday.com but I would recommend it. When I did havet doubts about my working out she sent me a message that kept me motivated

Christa Van Walleghem February 12 at 9:32am: hey sweet pea! How is life? How is your challenge going? Send me the link to your blog! I would love to read it. My challenge is going well thus far! yay. I had a CRAZY dream 2 night's ago that we were at Boxing together - we were partners doing drills, but we were in SUCH AMAZING shape!!! It was like we reached all of our goals. We looked insanely hot! I was like DAMN YES! This is a dream , and it is going to happen! heheh
Have a great weekend!
C
I plan to remember this message and keep up with my workouts when I am gone to Laos/Thailand and hopefully we will work out together when I come back , you shall be the final piece of the puzzle that helps me win fight club, always be you and don`t ever change.

Day 98: Now it`s time to shine, put it all on the line! Gonna take what`s mine!

Major teaching today starting off with a group of 8 freshly turned 18 year olds lineing up to get into my 6am class, pretty packed for a 6am but overall great atmosphere there`s even someone who bought a five class place and looks to see when I am teaching , I guess she will need a bigger pass:). I went to the gym afterwards and then went home to take a quick nap and then head to boxing the original intention was to do sleep til 11 30 but turned into sleeping in til 3, perfectly ok I had tons of energy to teach the 4 pm class which many of my good friends so we went with the intention of not taking life to seriously forget about your work day and have fun, also note that we had a solid big man roster in attendance , Matt who is 6`4 280, Eric 6`1 300 and Joe! plus me added as YO TEACH! then we got a new rise in all different types of people attending yoga.

The rest of the night after one of my best classes went like this , went on to do hot flow with Ryann where I was sweating extreme bullets here next up was teaching a 90 minute moksha which had a pretty low turn out but it left room for more hip opening since we had more room to work with and then closed off the 9 pm with a nearly sell out crowd pretty the class with some intense work , no real deep back backs and room for deeper stretching to prepare for bed, Simply Flawless

The shout out goes out to Phil and Ry, my very first encounter with Ry was March 26 2008 and actually super surpise she let me film inside class, that was actually so wicked of her considering I could of been just one of those people who simply comes to the studio for the one week intro and is never heard from again, good thing that this wasn`t the case. My first encounter with Phil was about a week and half later and word had already spread about my film ,I was thinking who is this guy and then I am like ohhh Ry`s husband and he just recently got back from T.O I believe. With strong encouragement from both I continued with my yoga practice and less than a month in I was informed that I would be member of the month, I ve decided to include that profile in here and it`s really intresting to see how the studip has changed since

hmmm rule 3 for 30 day challenge
3) Please limit yourself to 2 classes per day as a maximum. Too much of a good thing is no longer a good thing as our bodies need rest!
I like to call this one the Marc rule, though at times I am sure I had caused them concerns for my health and wellness they have always stuck by me and I remember 3 months in Ryann asked if I was thinking about doing a teacher training , I thought she was nuts and that at time hot yoga was all about physical practice and making my arms look nice but as my practice grew, yoga has allowed me to stay connected with life and I am glad to have such great people I consider family being such a big part and influence on my life. In February Phil said "hey marc you`ve been teaching lots lately , pretty soon you won`t need that safeway job" I honestly that wouldn`t happen for awhile but it eventually did about a month ago and life had been pretty smooth sailing since, this has allowed more time for me to put myself first with work outs which have been awesome since I am no longer around a high stresses environment, with the big change in employment,I am almost that much closer to reaching my fitness goal I set out to set 2 years ago(except this time i don`t plan to drop all the weight in 2 months), there is no way I wouldn`t have made it as far as I did without these 2 , I will continue succeed and make my moksha community proud because the last I would want to is dissapoint.

Day 97: I hear voices in my head , they come to me they understand, they talk to me

Well.. well a very awesome start to 6am , with a nice packed class for Moksha flow , not one negative comment recieved , the only real negative thing is attachments to receiving complements because I know one day I will have someone dislike my class and we were taught at training to practice non attachment, because things do indeed change.I ate a little bit of chicken that could of possibly been left out the fridge a bit too long , decided to take a power nap before going to boxing... well I woke up and felt dizzy and was really debating whether to go , well I did and totally got my a$$ kicked by Sue.I did feel great after and took a little break at home watching the classic steven seagal film Under Seige, went to the gym for a bit and took a wicked class from Ali, the unfortunate thing is my sickness from the chicken started kicking in and I felt super dizzy, well i made through class and oh Look who`s teaching the 90 minute right after , well I did something I usually don`t and I took and ibuprofene , when it finally kicked 20 minutes later I felt like teaching and really brought in some crazy positive energy towards the class ,especially since it was Kam`s bday.

The shout out today goes to the self proclaimed Queen of Mean Lisa Mackenzie , extreme . intense and type A! This one has always been a supporter of the Marc blog , even ended up making an account just so she could comment on my blogs , with an account she has began her own blog on be the change. A very important part of my guide to fitness our very first encounter was her telling me and my friend how to punch and my friend had since feared her and has never returned to pan am since. An extreme Jillian Michaels indeed I wonder who the poor person will be that gets paired up with her for fight club haha kidding but seriously, she made it out to my very first class and when she had doubts about moksha , I delivered a great class on a music sunday that got her loving it again , it`s unfortunate I can`t take her class anymore but she still points out when ever i am late when it comes to noon boxing class , I for sure would of made it as far without this intense boxing trainer , i hope to take this with me ,with my month disadvantage at fight club , BRING IT

Day 96: I came to play

Back on track had a nice sleep in til 10 am and went for a hair cut , officially paid to be in fight club and got my boxing on , was approach by someone that asked me how much weight I`ve droped and I ask if he reads my blog(I assumed because he was phillipino and James listed at least three flips that read my blog) but apperently he just remembered me from last summer.Later on during the I made it to studio right before 4pm but suddenly got really sleepy and kind of jsut wanted to chill in the sun ... so I did for 20 minutes went to the gym at pro agressive for the first time and then went on to do a great class from Clancy(she didn`t even say the word JUICY) this led to my first nose bleed of the challenge, could of been from the one legged chattarunga or just too much increase in hot sauce from eating Pho! all was well after and I got to have a nice relaxing night .

Shout out goes to Nena Buduhan, my very first encounter with Big sister was meeting her through my brother 11 years ago watching the blair witch project in Kent`s basement... the next encounter was Robin`s hot flow in 2008 shortly after she got back from teacher training, we totally had one of those I know I `ve seen that person before. I didn`t start really talking to Nena until I started regularly attending hot flow tuesdays and thursdays the old days with head stand and crazy balancing poses, gooood times. Always a fun person to take classes with and often tendency to make jokes at each other before , after and during class and out of the studio just a great overall person to be around , she has been a huge infulence on my practice and teaching and I was very happy to have her in my class Sunday mourning, it`s like how smiles are contagious well so is Nena :0 , never take life to serious or might miss the enjoyment

Day 95:Hurts so good

The easter monday started off great with a 6am class with a pretty big turn and plenty of non regulars attending and I got to leave really happily , feels nice to feel appreciated and respected at a job :), I had the intention of going to boxing at noon but instead I watched the alvin and the chipmunks with the intention of hitting boxing and the gym after 4 pm moksha with Ryann, class was awesome! with Ryann pulling some marc and decided to do Eagle pose twice! I d prefer pravrita uttkatasana . After the class I had a couple of friends unexspectely show up to the studio I was super happy to see them but a little dissapointed I was not the one scheduled to teach their class , after I said my goodbyes and see you laters , I got asked to teach 5:30 which I gladly accepted so everything ended up working out well except for the fact I didnt end up goin to the gym and boxing for 3 straight days.. man that easter bunny will get his.

Special shout out goes to Monica Dominguez she has always been a supporter of me ever since I started at Moksha, she was of the first people to come up to me and express how impressed she was with my dedication to practice and overall fitness changes. She really had her hopes set that we would both do the Toronto teacher training together which would of been really cool but it all worked out in the end :) , I keep hearing from other people that Monica always says positives things about me (when Mirna was in the 30 day challenge she told Monica that she was the next Marc)and she made sure to make it to my first class which gave me a great boost of confidence going into teaching , always someone i can feel free to talk to about anything and I`m sure the same goes both ways. Always sending outs words of encouragement she said my video motivated her to run a marathon which is something i have left to do on my to do list... one day , the only unfortunate thing is now with two studios I barely get to see her but it`s all good I got to spend a solid 3 hours catching up with her at Mirna`s baby shower which made that seem nothing but good despite canada`s men hockey team losing to the U.S. So i thank you Monica super great to see you take my class the other day, stick with being you.

Day 94: 6 hours in the hot room, new personal record?

Well.. well after extremely fun night out with Jessica ,Mika, Lisa and company it was time to teach four classes in one day and figure since I had a big gap in between the two locations I was able to attend Jocelyn`s first class . First I will talk about my teaching , the great thing about teaching 4 classes in one is hoe many familiar faces you get to see , but instead of name dropping everyone because it would be a big list of awesome peeps , I `ll name drop the first timers first off Rachelle from boxing who is super intense when it comes to works out and first female I`ve ever wrestled, she enjoyed the workout so much she decided to double up ,Nena was such a joy to have and she came in two minutes before class on her two week elephant power class she was able to turn the class into one of my most memorable , nooner saw Jess Blaikie take her first class with me and seemed to just laugh at every third line I say so I decided to throw out some guitar hero for the first time in two month, Shauna Williams was also in attendance and she made sure to give me a big sweaty hug since it was of the best classes she`s had in awhile, Third class had me visiting Andrew at waverley where my good buddy Samina took my class as she prepares for her lulu lemon sweat challenge and Keith Mcpherson gave me one of my best of positive I`ve received. The final class had fellow challengers Ella and Lane attending and it was extremely special to have Katie Szilagyi there since she we first started talking when i was on my intro pass and she thought I was insane for doing so many classes back in the day, got rewarded with a cookie and a kinder surprise from Joseph Ranseth who took my class for the first time, still had energy at the end of the day and just couldn't help but think how much I really do love my job!

Jocelyn did an amazing job with her first class, she ended the class right on the dot and knew the script word for word and provided every detail, a real pro and natural at it , I look forward to seeing her develop as an instructor , I`m sure she was extremely excited to have her family there , her dad for the first time trying hot yoga and then mad props to tony to being there despite being ill, i later sat down with Jocelyn t give her a detailed review on her class which she main it known how much it was appreciated and to end with a funny note a friend who was in attendance asked me if she was single haha love bramacharya!

Special shout out goes to Tom Rossi ,this guy has pushed me to limit since I rejoined pan am December 9th, I actually was in extremly terrible shape since being back from the Vegas training and my first class back I needed to sit down and take a break and told Tom that I got sick in the bathroom and was unable to continue(ESPECIALLY STAIRS!) and my legs(mainly my ankles) just got fatigue with little effort. Tom strongly encouraged me to stick with it and he was able to get maximum effort and intensity out of me , I am no longer last when it comes to running stairs and he is consistanly mentioning the improvements I continue to make and the inches I have shed, the best part about being apart of the mourning crew(also known as the breakfast because we eat breakfast every friday) is that a good 8-10 people are consistant goers that just build that awesome team centergy and group atmosphere that makes for the best results and is my forte , a group of people coming together strieving for one common goal... sounds like the 100 day challenge , I am sure I will get to pay it forward to Tom when decides to attend one of my classes, still look forward to seeing you friday mournings.

And the results for new personal record in the hot room...In April 28th and May 7th of 2008 were the two days I did 5 hot classes in one day but at that time hot hatha ended at 9:45 soooooo new record in the hot room by 15 minutes woot woot! this one will probably stand for another two years.

Day 93: 90 Minute hot friken flow!

So the day started off with me teaching the first two mourning classes at waverley , I apperently received all around good reviews especially from 2 older that are in their 70s, mad props on them trying hot yoga for the first time. Then the epic return of 90 minute hot flow , full of postive people fend energy off of we had Melissa,Mika,Kate and Amelia all in a circle and for some added soooo moksha energy there was Jeff , Adrienne,Nicole and Jen to just enjoy the overall class experience, I don`t know why but when I see people go down 30 minutes into a class I just get this burst of energy and I am encouraged to work even harder on all those chattarungas, well I guess it works well for my benefit, but after the class the cocky tough guy invincible attitude had me sitting in one spot for a solid 10 minutes , soooo worth it though!

Felt like the real celebration went on as we got the party started via Mika `s birthday, got recognized by more then one person for teaching and was able to have some solid male bonding time with Mika and Lisa `s boyfriends , very cool and opposite guy , wooooo straight edge society, Im thinking about starting my own version of s.h.i.e.l.d , plus the coolest thing is actually seeing people outside the studio it`s like wow... no more like WOW ! for realz! finished off the night on a super super positive note at Mystique and I even got recognized by two security guards that have recently started coming to the studio which got me in V.I.P

Special shout out goes to my best friend Stephane Normandeau , we have been work out partners for nearly three years off and on and hows been there through the good and bad times, even though he had a membership at the french college he still joined me at shapes so we would give each other extra pushes , he has done 2 yoga challenges with me and is about to do a third one and for my very first community class he brought nearly 10 family members which caused my class to have the first ever community sell out. During this challenge he has attended karma gaga and even dress as tom cruise risky buisiness style(yup dress shirt and underwear) to support his good buddy, he is second in attendance in Marc classes next to my mom and the number 1 wing man a guy can ask for (seriously though you actually pulled major huge for me last night) Truly a good a friend and glad he`s been apart of this journey.

Day 92: Yoga circus

Very welcoming goooood Friday , there was no boxing this mourning so I just slept in and woke up just in time to take to take Ryann`s moksha flow class , still kind of weird to see her around the Donald studio but it `s always a burst of positive energy when she is around and perfect person to observe teaching especially with so many new people in the class. It was very joyful and I manage to be the last one in savasana and didn`t even come close to falling asleep but had the song Hurt so good stuck in my head.

After a breif rest I got to teach my 2nd Moksha triple , the first class filled with very colorful and familiar characters Judy, Monica and Katya,Jamie and Jordan and had two former security buddies in there from when I had my breif stint and Blush and a former employee at safeway who brought along his wife and mother in law along for the ride, fun times indeed! The karma classes were smaller then usual but full of colorful characters like the moaners, breathers and no matter how many times you say feet together , person still doesnt follow, overall it was fun and the classes ended on a positive note.

The special shout out goes to Jill Einarson, my first encounter with Jill is when she wanted to switch energy exchange shifts for an entire loop because she had a course where her shift was in the way , we switched and have been friends since , right before she left for teacher training in India she was the first one to tell me that one day I`ll make a great intructor , I took that to heart and that rest we can say is now history, she was there to greet me when I got back from Vegas and when I had my doubts about teaching she`s was there to give me that pick me up and it was extremly rare to not see her light up that smile that just becomes so contagious , the only time she ever dislike something I said was when I told her when she guides the class through savasana it sounds like she is reading a children`s story book! and right before she left Moksha she made sure to take one of my Moksha classes even though she had to study and was teaching two hours later, so much more I can say about such a great person. Thanks Jill

Day 91: Introducing of the top 10

Well there have been lots of people who have helped me along the way so I will be making shout out to people/groups (in no particular order) who have added that extra push along the way or have just simply said something to really keep me motivated with my yoga practice , teaching and overall lifestyle. So first off I will describe the work out day itself and then for the final make my shout out, thank you for the people who have been following my blog, good karma is coming your way I guarentee it.

Starting off this mourning waking up at 5 am to open the yoga studio , had an overwelming response with 30 people coming to a 6 am class, had lots of fun and it was a perfect way to start off the day, after a solid routine power nap went on to an intense power nap , I got to go to my now consistent noon boxing class, took a little break by watching the coen brothers film a serious man and then did Clancys hot flow class that brought some fun for sure and then I went on to teach the last two classes of the night. Made my announcement to my friends that I will be joining the pan am boxing fight club, which is kind of like a heathier version of biggest loser and I plan to win this with a disadvantage having to do the first month on my own , without a mentor and without the group training session . All I got to say is
BRING IT!

Special shout out to James Buduhan since day 50 or so he has been going to classes I have been attending , we often pair up and he pushes me and shows me some of the technical aspect due to his kickboxing pass.he also shows up more late then I do which makes me looks good and he spreaded the good word of marc hanumanasana via implanting a message in the girl`s changing when he was working on the sink"if you cough in front of marc , he owes you a hanumanasana" and apperently it was all him and Nena had nothing to do with it. Just yesterday dude went so intense on the bag it felt completly off and he recently offered to sponsor four people to come to my next karma class, Dude is gonna make a great father soon , hope he still stays with pan am when that happens , maybe even sign up for fight club for some added competition(you reading this James) competition will bring out the best in everyone especially with people you have strong bongs with.

Day 89 and 90: Teaching 100th class ....CENTURY MARK

Day 89 Wow can one weekend of bad eating really effect you : Well apparently my cell phone managed to be 3 hours off but no worries i was still able to make it to noon boxing, couldnt push it as much for sure , went on to do my second last day at shapes with a shoulder work out and then went to flow 2 which had my left tricep cramp up , not cool! It was Nena`s last class before she left for her leave so I wish her the best. I ended the night watching hot tub time machine which was totally awesome and highly recommended, John Cusack you get a shout out because you are truly underrated.

Day 90: Well taught my first Moksha flow at 6 am that got a really good reaction , I was thank for not sounding robotic and then I watched biggest loser , got my ever so powerful nap in and did a noon boxing class where I swear sue just tore me to shreads and my shoulders were just in sooo much pain , soooo worth it though! Finished off my final day at shapes with a chest work out and for the remainder of the day I taught the 5:30 which had a surprisingly low turn out but the day was sooo nice outside, it overall went well but I did have people come up to me and complement how it wasnt too hot, finish off the night with a spacious Robin hot flow and headed to bed early in order to teach the 6 am on thursday

day 84-88 Blogging to you from Regina

Day 84 : Another very active day for me , kept my triple threat streak still alive and strong , the triple threat is when I am able to perform at high levels when I go to the gym , boxing and yoga in the same day. This went really well for me and I taught two classes as well , I got to take Adrienne `s class for the first time and enjoyed her twists in moksha flow class

Day 85: Today marks my 2nd year anniversary and Moksha yoga winnipeg , my very first class was with Ryann on Wednesday and it for a 9 pm hatha class , I was with two friends Britney and Laura and Paul was working the desk , I also bought a lock and just felt amazing after the class , at this time I was certain I would return but I couldn`t of ever imagin it would be consistanly for two years. I got to celebrate this day by teaching my first 4 class day by the last class I felt like that was where I had the most energy for some reason , this was an overall great day despite me opting not to do my own yoga practice, go to the gym or boxing.

Day 86 : The horse got carried into extreme by me waking up early on Saturday and go to join the fellow pan am boxers in an intense class , also got some in ring work accomplished with an intructor(lisa who is the dude that always wear the backwards hat) and went on to do some yoga right after , it was very different to see Ryann at Donald on a Saturdya but I was super happy she was there teaching the class , afterwards I went to take a nap which set me up for a huge leg workout where I was trying to make it my goal to work them out so hard I would no really be able to use them the next couple days, reason being, see day 87 and 88

Day 87:woke up at 6 am to start driving to Regina , the drive was a little tough due to my lack of sleep but overall it went well , later on I got to see a few friends and make a new one , spent some time with the buddies that shared memories of Bryan and then I finish off on a positive note watching South park

Day 88: blogging right now, a couple hours away from the funeral , I won`t be back in winnipeg til later tonight so no practice , gym or yoga , back to kicking it in high gear Tuesday

Day 81-83 R.I.P Bryan Khan March 13 1977-March 24 2010

Day 81 Back on the wagon: Taught two classes today and took Robin `s hot flow which got super intense and then i did the hatha which for some reason seemed even hotter , I don`t remember the last time I `ve seen so many go down in Hatha class , it was quite fun and entertaining though , I did also do boxing and an arm work out so overall very productive work out day after my weekend of bad eating. Ended the night off watching new moon with my 4 male friends.... yup

Day 82 Waking up 6 hours later, same results : Woke up at 11:20 am then went to boxing , had a little break and went to the gym , the workout went a little longer then expected and I had to miss flow 2 which was fine , i just went to Robin`s hot flow instead which was indeed very challenging and consecutive days of holding 9 poses for 1008 seconds , very good times and I kind of wish I did not do a crazy leg workout before hand. Finish off this night watch Alice in Wonderland 3D with the same 4 male friends...yup

Day 83: It has been a very good week in terms of working out feeling great, first I started off by teaching the mourning class at waverley where I exsperience someone having an emotional release while I gave the adjustment , I felt totally awesome afterwards because she went to thank me right away and said it was exactly what she needed due to added on stress within the last couple of weeks , feels great to know I was able to really impact someone and make a difference , taking this positive energy and excitment I headed to the gym immediately and did a very productive shoulder work out. Taught a wicked class at 5:30 and then did another day of Robin`s class with again another 1008 seconds class , with repetition these classes do get easier :) , unfortunetly not all was well by the end of the night , I received a call from my brother that a good friend of family`s had passed away , he had recently suffered a heart attack and was doing fine afterwards or he at least gave the implacation he was doing ok but last night due to after effects he was found dead his home by his mom at 4pm last night , it was just a real shock considering he was only 33.

Remembering Brian , my first memories of the guy was that he was always known as the party animal and was always full of nice , always being known for wild stories and he would always complement my mom`s cooking and his attempts to speak laotion are some of the funniest things I can remember, I always remember hearing story where he snuck upstairs during a house party and raided the refridgerator and started eating spagetti with his hands , he ended up waking the girl`s dad and caught him red handed , when he was caught he simply ran. When he graduated from high school he shocked everyone and then shocked even more people when he became the first person out of brother`s crew to attend university , he completed what he needed to do and impressed everyone when he achieved his goal of going from mall security guard to his permanent career job of being a parole officer. Brian was always filled with quirky facts about mike tyson ,wrestling and other male macho things,The last time we chatted he mentioned I was a stud and the he would like to incorparate yoga in his life, he was a great friend and I will always look at him as an older brother , he will be missed by many and will never be forgotten.

Day 77-80 very unproductive

Day 77 : Well I guess this day could not be included in the theme of being unproductive , I got my boxing , gym and hot yoga class in before having to do the closing shift at Safeway,it was very exciting considering it `s my last week there , on a side note of actual class , It was good times practicing with Lindsay Rayter because I think she pretty much looks identical to Mika so it was overall positive energy in that room!

Day 78: Still got to fit in my 6:45am boxing class before going to work a mourning shift at safeway, afterwards no gym or class just headed to bed and then woke up to head to the waverley studio to teach the Karma class , where i ran into a who`s who of randoms , including two people from shapes, my favourite teacher`s daughter and a guy I work with on a movie 4 years ago , re called many memories including working with Carmen electra and having to film til 6am, ended the night watching some MTV which I`ve never really done with the exception of Jersey Shore

Day 79: Did not really have room for much today except for a thing I like to call work , so got to teach the first two classes which went really well and I think i taught my best moksha flow yet , and then finally got to finish my final day at safeway , soooo happy i finish my last shift I wanted to cry out tears of joy / pull a prank on one of my bodies to show how happy I was I was crying , so i squeezed a lemon in my eyes , only make you cry for about a minute but is very effective, finish the night celebrating with my good buddies just eating cake and watching Glenn Martin DDS.

Day 80: Had two classes to teach today starting at 930 am , for the community class I had 5 friends come to class , two of them left before the standing series and another two friends leave because one had to pick up her son but overall it was to catch up with old friends , just low on energy after teaching i took an early nap and had to end on the night so i could teach the 6am , I will for sure do a class today , i need a good practice in.

Day 75 and 76 held plank the longest out of 44 people

Day 75: The day started off with me sleeping in tIl 1 pm , I guess i was really lacking sleep , well this was for sure very good and was the first day i hadn`t taught a class in a week , so just letting myself have a lazy day, well not exactly the case , went to flow 2 that felt like a hot class , it was pretty funny seeing the girls have make up running expecting the same thing that it would be hot up there, i did some intense boxing afterwards that actually had keeping up with jump squats then finished off the night watching the crazies over alice in wonderland , Im sure i`ll make my way to that one soon.

Day76: Got my boxing on that took sooo much out of me, my works out have just been pretty effective this week but i find i work myself hard that I end up sleeping during the day and then i have trouble sleeping afterwards ,I did do a back work out and headed straight to bed , when i got up it was time to head to the studio to teach in our new heat ,the goal is to try keep everyone in the room but theres always one or two people that go to re-fill their water , looks like everyone else is having the same problem , I guess we need to talk more about the importance of trying to stay in the room , afterwards i did hot flow and we had a plank challenge , whoever could hold plank the longest wins, i was getting pretty tired when it came to the final six also I was very tempted to yell at some people to bring their butts down in plank , in the end in came down to me and Lorna, Robin did not see me still in my plank so she told Lorna to go down , so i would of at least finished top two but we`ll never know who would of stayed up there , anyways i totally lay credit to both pan am and moksha for the reason i was able to last so long , pan am we consistanly hold plank near the end of class and since i taught the class before hand i was a bit lighter!

Day 72 , 73 , 74 Time change

Day 72: Meet up with Mika first thing in the mourning to teach the first two classes at Waverley , as my shift was coming to an end people were leaving in shorts , it looks like spring was here!I decided just nap it up after and then call it an early night... but instead my best friend had a series of random events happen to him that prevented him from working (broken phone, stabbing on bus that never arrived) so we went to cowboys where the only positive thing was i ran into an old friend`s younger sister, nough said, the overall night ended pretty well switching locations and hanging with one of my good friends who I use to always watch flick with

Day 73: Well the time change was not my best friend but had a blast teaching the early mourning class and as I set for community I was put on to teach the music class as well , it was one very long day for me considering all the classes were 90 minutes , overall it was well worth it but still had trouble sleeping in the night.

Day 74: Well taught the first 2 mourning classes at Donald and finished up one of my yoga projects , got a chance to return to boxing and worked up a huge sweat , and then taught an addional 90 min class, I hadnt done my own practice in three days so I decided to take hot flow, which was hot hot indeed! ended the night watching the cove but was drained an fell asleep, and it`s official I gave in my two weeks notice to safeway!

Day 70 and 71 : Setting the goal right now , by the end of this challenge I`m dropping at least 10 pounds

Day 70: Started off with me teaching the 6 am class , lots of a positivity!the energy exchanger did not show up so I hung around the studio and was looking for ideas for teaching my first hot flow class the next day. Afterwards i did an intense leg work out and then unexspectely got asked to teach the a 4:30 moksha , which I did after watching the movie precious , the movie was pretty depressing and a tad overrated but Monique did indeed deserve the Oscar and still worth a viewing, after all that that I decided to do a class in the hot room at Donald which had a Moksha 90 feel hotter then the hot flow from the night before , I kind of felt only me and Shannon Friesen enjoy the heat that high , but we`ll have to see how this holds up , it`s almost like learning again and really challenging yourself kind of like when I first started doing Moksha , this new heat is egnighting my fire!

Day 71:Well I woke up at 6 am and just didn`t have the energy to go to boxing , so I slept! sooooo worth it! and woke up at 11am then went on to do noon boxing class which brought up a huge sweat level(still thinking I was feeling effects from the night before) followed by a chest workout and then teaching my first hot flow filled with very awesome marc supporters , so special shout outs to Melissa, Matt, Shannon and Lorna, afterwards i had to teach the two karma classes tonight which had very intense heat ... GOOOOOOOOOOOD TIMES!gonna sleep so well tonight and then be up bright amd early the two first classes at Waverley ! Also today Mika took a small break and decided to watch the old video I made 2 years ago of when I started first started yoga and decided to drop weight , think the only problem that came with the video was that I drop lots of weight in a short amount of time , so small consistent weight lost to keep it off for good!

Day 67 ,68 and 69 Over my head

Day 67: Well I havn`t blogged since i found out about my friends from high school being involved in a stabbing that occurred at Alive http://winnipeg.ctv.ca/servlet/an/local/CTVNews/20100308/wpg_stabbing_arrests_100308/20100308/?hub=WinnipegHome, still comes as a shock , kind of thought about what would of happen if i been there , I usually hang out with these guys when I see them when i`m out so it just kind of runs through the mind ,I decided to not to not do a practice today mainly because time was against me , I taught the 6 am , noon , worked at safeway and had a birthday to go to, which went by swell but i was beyond beat and called it an early night.

Day 68: The Tuesday , mainly the only day of the week I sleep in which I took full advantage of but did not have that full rest feeling , kind of had the whole lazy feeling around , but i took this time to watch some stuff i missed from the oscars , and then went to do an arm workout and went on to do some flow 2 , and got to teach the night double afterwards which went super well filled with familiar faces

Day 69: Finally got some boxing going , and went very intense , so intense punching the bag so hard the girl holding it lost control of the bag and knocked down her glasses , good times! But in all seriousness big work out and then had to work at 9 am , went to the gym then thought the 5:30 which went really well, even had someone i recognized from Bikram trying moksha for the first time woo hoo for intro month! afterwards was an extremly intense hot flow, maybe it was the heat in the room but I down my water bottle and 2 people left and lots of bodies taking breaks , I missed that feeling of a big big challenge, kind of hope it stays this way but we`ll see how the room holds after the renovations.

Day 66: Team Century Mark reaches $1500 in donations

Got back to boxing after my one day break , felt nice a well led class by Kevin with plenty of help around him and for the first sunday in awhile didn`t have to teach , so I got to have a day off from teaching on a sunday so i took my time to do projects for yoga training and then went on to meet with Team century mark for power of movement , which went really , greatly led by philly d and great music from david, after wards eating some yoga snacks and doing the photo shoot really provided a great atmosphere for everyone to just hang out because it`s so rare from so many of us being in one place not discussing business , afterwards I got to catch up with one of my former best friends who i havnt seen in awhile , really felt nice to recall old memories and unfortunately more of us couldnt get together due to a good bunch being involved in a stabbing friday night and so they are currently in jail , hmm some reunion , made me wonder how close i was to reaching the same path , well I guess it`s best i didn`t ... they still my bros though

Day 63,64,65, : Wild and young!

Day 63 : Started off with Lisa`s boxing class and making my final appearance there in awhile(late as usual) but still a good solid 55 minutes of hard work, went on to teach a moksha flow practically to all $40 intro students , good times! went on to work out and then did some flow 2 including some very intresting yoga trance dance and requested by moi! if you don`t know what yoga trance dance is here`s a link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRou8B31Hic, after that a few of us went out for drinks and chatted for 3 hours

Day 64: Did some boxing and then went to work , had to skip the work out due to having to go to mpi to get my bumper checked , things went by smoothly and then watch 2012 and then went on to watch a wrestling show , got to take some photos with one of my favorite wrestler when I was younger including Japanease sensation Tajiri , amoung other Larry Zbysko,Daivari, Kashida, kevin thorn and the most hated man in reality television Johnny Fairplay also ended up hitting 3 bars and stayed sober woot woot

Day 65: After my night of play I woke up super late and felt pretty crumby , I guess I over slept ,nothing like a hot yoga class in silence to bring me back up to speed , followed by a staff meeting that went fairly well with some fruit to keep intructors happy, second karma class will be added to waverley! later took a bit of a rest and then went to hip hope yoga wearing a very heavy and very hot valour suit , Kept it on for a good hour before it just got to freakin hot and then ended off my night falling a asleep to a japanease horror film called audition where the only thing I remember is a woman cutting a guy`s foot off with a violin string, good times!

Day 62: Pushed by the pilot

Well started off a nice solid mourning with the pilot from boxing(I always forget his name , I`m sure lisa can help me up) push me to the extreme is boxing today , afterwards I had to work and right after I planned to take a 2 hour nap , well that nap ended up being almost 4 hours and I had to rush out in order to get my shoulder work out in ,which I did then went on to do a moksha class led by Sherry, the class filled up liek crazy and I think we had a solid 67 people in there, I couldnt help but have a big smile on my face seeing all these people struggle with the heat , i know we all been there but couldnt help but gt more motivation while watching this , anyways overall solid day 62!

Tuesday, March 2, 2010

Day 61: All cramped up

Got to have a very nice sleep in also kind of had a pig out night from hanging out with my friends super late and I chose to skip boxing , I did however do a very intense chest workout today and while teaching the 4 30 pm class my right bicep started cramping up after one chattarunga. I finished the night off with 9 pm moksha and going into eagle pose I felt the entire upper body included biceps , triceps ,shoulders and lats LIKE FREAKIN OUCH! anyways all was well after i suppose except for my left tricep , guess I should lift as hard?

Monday, March 1, 2010

Day 60: Love teaching 6 am , noon and 5:30

Lots of time in the hot room today , topped off with Robin `s hot flow , we had over 50 people in that class and I had never seen so many regular goers go down before the end of class , thsi resulted in one awesome sleep! I couldnt even finish watching three amigos with my buddies , tomorrow I plan to head back to the gym and squeeze in a boxing session

Day 57 , 58 , 59 John Hughes movies isn`t just movies about teenagers , it about the struggle to find oneself

Day 57 : Well Friday started off with some some boxing so good kick to the system , and then the rest of the day I got to rest up fairly nice until i got to moksha 2 then i taught two classes afterwards , I had one girl just overly tell me how much she loved the class and how she felt calm and relaxed and then was saying how she would bring her friends and then Im just like yeah definitely from high school.

Day 58: Was stuck working 8 hours and the cashier position and then I was ready to rock things out via 80s karma night , when my friend saw my outfit , he was like dude? that`s like underwear , but my boi Stephane was pulling the underwear with his risky business get up and then through the 80s class i went through shirt changes representing Ninja turtles , Wham , Run DMC and the breakfast club, overall it the class was extreme fun and felt like the laughs were coming at a rapid pace that it seemed like the class was 5 minutes.

Day 59: Well didn`t really get enough sleep on account that I was out til 4 am the night before but i still was pumped full of energy teaching my 1:30 class that turned out to be all female due to the hockey game and then i got to teach a the music which also had a slightly higher turnout , Jaclyn was great as always and i made it time to watch highlights and the olympics ceremony

Friday, February 26, 2010

Day 56: Skipped boxing to watch Joannie win Bronze

The day started off very early and didn`t feel fatigued at all , had no alarm trouble and was able to teach the 6am class fairly well , afterwards I got to meet the new exchanger and then I went off to try out a boot camp class at shapes , it was quite challenging and then I compliled the the list for the 80s tracks, afterwards I got a solid 3 hour nap and then went on to flow 2 , lots of positivity with the group and lots of wall use , it might of been my best flow 2 yet. Afterwards the initial plan was for me to do a class at Pan am , but I opted to watch the Olympics instead and rest , the decision turned out to be a good one after witnessing Joannie Rochette winning a medal under difficult circumstances and also only being predicted to finish top ten at best , really gave that spec, ial feeling inside , still I felt a little guilty for skipping out on class so I will double Friday , oh man I hear Friday noon is the hardest class

Thursday, February 25, 2010

Day 54 and 55 : TEST THIS!

Day 54: Tuesday I got to have a wicked sleep in , like wow! woke up past my alarm and it was 11:51am , pretty nutty i ust had the whole lazy sluggish feeling all day so i kind of just watched one tree hill and some olympics but by 2:30pm I finally got up and started to do a crazy chest work out so crazy that one down ward dog caused my right bicep to cramp up during class , but this day went really considering I got to know my fellow flow twoers , I mean it was like really ? you have kids? or really your husband is that similar to me? k what you got kicked out of a bar??? for what for what? so yeah it`s quite nice to know the people outside the studio!

Day 55; I got to get my first mourning boxing class today , it was nice to join Tom and the crew for some nice hard work and shoulder fatigue , ahhh yes good times! I decided to work out legs on this day because Thursday I won`t be running any stairs and then i later after the hard work i hit up value village in hopes to find something for 80s class , I m very excited to lead this i think things will go well overall , after teaching I did Robins Hot flow which again gave me instant yoga high and then when i got home I was able to watch Canada win in Womens bobsled and then finished off the night with a very under rated movie in Extract! Very funny stuff

Day 52 &53:Nervous much

Day 52: Well it was a day of firsts , I got to teach the mourning double at Waverley for the first time , to my suprise there was a pack crowd for mourning class with 47 people attending,it went really and I got to teach an entirely different crowd then I am use to. Later that day I got an even bigger suprise when I saw Ryann arrive with her mom and they were both coming to take only my second moksha flow class, all went well though and I got to spend the rest of my day relaxing at Mirna`s baby shower and getting some good catch up time with fellow instructor Monica.

Day 53: Well today I got to teach my first 6 am class and had to work the desk , Little nervous but through it well except for the fact I was not quick enough to put in the alarm code , will be a mistake that will not happen again , the class itself went really well and then I got to do some boxing after, took a really big nap afterwards and then did a hot flow class that made us hold spinx for 3 minutes, fun times! change is good , later did a great shoulder work out after taking 3 days off from that and watched the critically acclaimed Wes Anderson film Bottle Rocket which had all three Wilson brothers , yup Luke and Andrew an A list power couple.... what a third wilson brother? haha yeah i know there`s an Andrew Wilson who is not really known but did have a big role recently as the coach in the movie Whip it , alright so this the only night I get to sleep in , thanks for reading g night

Sunday, February 21, 2010

Day 51 :Sooo GAGA

Well I got some must needed rest and woke up so late that I was unable to head to the gym, no worries I work extra for Karma gaga which was led by the returning Clancy , kind of suprised she wasnt darker. later on I celebrated with some of 100 day challengers and then we played wii yoga which rated us really bad at yoga , is this challenge worth it? haha only kidding , doing yoga with friends = good times! and teaching it too!

Day 49 and 50 The end of an era and the beginning

Well Thursday mourning was my last day for Lisa`s mourning boxing class , so it was so long to my version of Jillian Michaels and Im gonna need to let the extra push come from within, later on gathered up the energy to teach at 4 pm and and then took Nena `s flow which caused her to hit my foot , talk about sleep deprivation!
Day 50:The following still woke up very early in the mourning to take the boxing class and then had to go to work which kind of triggers an automatic stress factor for me but I got recognized by 3 people that I teach at Moksha so that was pretty nice , after that instead of the doing the usual moksha 2 I decided to take Jill`s final hot flow class and last class she was teaching at Moksha , she will be very missed and I will miss her positivity and energy around the studio. after class I stayed for hatha and so did she and the class was filled with lots of recognizible faces which always adds in positive energy in the room ,I believe I ended up falling asleep in this class as well, man i need sleep , so instead of goign straight home I hung out with the mickster(craig ) and after that we went to a pub to watch a friend`s band play which went really well and they played a wicked show(shoutout to The Scarlett for playing a great show) but yeah sooo tired I fell asleep at a pub. Anyways the a new era is beginning ,I am teaching more then I could of ever dreamed avg a little more then a class a day and teaching moksha flows and 6 am `s , I `m looking to not dissapoint the people that got me there!

Day 48 : This week all of Robin`s classes end in splits

No complaints here , I friken love SPLITS but whoever is reading this already knows that, so 5 hours in the hot room last night but 4 of those hours were simply teaching and didn`t feel drained so I was glad to get a class in. Boxing is still going well and I`m actually feeling pretty good about the lifestyle I am living right now, hmmm I see change coming though but not anytime soon

Wednesday, February 17, 2010

Day 47: Felt great and skipped boxing

Well , well waking up was not fun after the night at republic and couldn`t wake up in time for noon class so I watch an episode was one tree hill , it talked about not waiting around because you never know was tomorrow might bring you , obviously they were talking about love so I headed to the gym and had a wicked shoulder work out , then had to teach which went really well , it seems like the heat was pretty normal and I was complemented many times for my class , afterwards I did Robin`s hot flow where every class she teaches this week ends in hanumanasana , talk about a sign of me to start doing doubles! So if I decide to do her class tonight that would be 5 hours in the hot room.... tick tock tock

Tuesday, February 16, 2010

Day 46: Fells like I have fallen off the horse... guess it`s time to get back on !

I truly feel that I have fallen off after missing two class days in a row , added with an all you can eat rib night and partying to Pauly D til 2am , yup yup now I have woken up all tired and not really wanting to do much of anything , But I guess I laid this all there to do something about it and since the other work place only wants me to book me saturdays even though I book them off , I have plenty of free time to get back on track , doubles here I come!

Day 43: Christa revitilizes me once again

Well the normal day for Marc , Boxing , work and then got to do a level 2 with philly d that went really well , also it was the very first time I had ever done splits in phil`s class , I guess there`s a first for everything , Happy 35 birthday buddy , I ve had a pretty slow weak but I got the urge to get back on track when my good buddy Christa sent me a message saying that she had a dream that both of us were at boxing together , looking as great as ever, we`ll bunny we will make this dream a reality!

Thursday, February 11, 2010

Day 42: Got news I `ll be teaching 6 am classes ,

Wwell I was very happy with this news since 6 am is a great time slot for me to teach since I am usually up by that time anyways , that being said it is a little sad I will be away for my mourning boxing crew and I really hope i still make time to try to make it to pan as much as I currently do in order to reach my goals. Workout wise got a great boxing work out in and a chest work out at the gym added with a little bit of meditation after a class well taught and then organizing ways to raise with my fellow power of movement teamates , great day overall

Wednesday, February 10, 2010

Day 41: First eating something from Stellas

typical mourning with some intense boxing and then watching an episode of biggest loser and taking a less than hour nap before a leg work out at shapes. I was very excited to be teaching my first 1:30 karma and was suprised by Jill who had never taken my class before , it seemed very nice to have her positive energy in the room, after the class she went to stella`s to pick me up a garden burger while I taugh the 4 pm, the clock is ticking til she moves on but she says she will stil be practicing at the studio from time to time which is awesome news , finally this blog is on track , hope everyone else is doing well , I`m ending the night watching a movie with my good friends

Day 40: What is love? Baby don`t hurt me

Well , well no boxing this mourning and I was planning to sleep in but I got woken up by my good buddy Jill to teach a noon class and I did , afterwards i did a body talk session and felt great then went on to teach the 4 pm class then take Robin`s hot flow , the reason why I mention it is because robin asked for definitons on the word love two days in a row , I`m sure many people have their own version of how to explain it! I just relax for the rest of the night watching the film surrigates which wasn`t great but provides a good lesson!

Tuesday, February 9, 2010

Day 39: Quite a trend work out then do a favor for your brother`s girlfriend

Almost didn`t go to boxing in the mourning because I slept super late , but I was up late watching biggest loser so at the less second I decided to go to boxing , I arrived a little late and had to catch up on running stairs(stairs is actually the toughest part for me of the boxing work out) so we ended breaking our mounring record for stairs ran! after a tiring work out I was thinking about going back to sleep but my brother too drunk from last night`s super bowl begged me to drive his girl friend to school which I did , then took a breif 10 minute nap and went to the gym afterwards , after another day of work ,I went to let all the stress out a hot flow , the class was very well worth it as usual.

Later that night just relaxing watching tv almost ready for bed , My brother`s girlfriend got into a car accident and had to get me to drive 20 minutes for me to give her , her liscense without the opposition seeing...indeed very lame stuff!

Monday, February 8, 2010

Day 38: Saints complete cinderella story

Well ,well Sunday started off with some rather intense boxing and let me to teach the sunday community class I had three high school friends show up which was an added bonus to a full class, afterwards I watch a little bit of curling which was rather entertaining and then off to watch the super bowl while eating food an earls i will not disclose haha. I fell asleep shortly after and then woke uparound midnight ,rather then going back to sleep i watched the first episode of the biggest loser then i had yet to watch , very entertaining and emotional stuff and like the saints , people love to root for the underdog!

Day 37: Last day of Clancy for awhile

Well had to wake up early for work and I was up a little later than usualy last night because I went to a social , the good news is I had two girls from high school tell me they can`t wake to take my class on sunday tomorrow because they recently bought intro month pass. The class I did today was a rather intense 90 minute moksha flow with non yoga music , very good times and lots of challenging postures I enjoy , very good to take more of these classes and observing Clancy and Leslee before I start teaching moksha flow on a more consistant basis.I am beat and I think I ll sleep soon in order to make it to boxing in the mourning

Day 36:So reeking of awesomeness

Great and eventful day started off with some boxing and then work , after that I got to do a moksha level 2 with Ryann and did the class ever kick my butt, suprinsly I did not fall asleep though , afterwards I taught the two Karma classes and really enjoyed my exsperiences tonight , topped it off with going to a social and catching up with a few high school friends and saying goodbye to the girl that took me to my first yoga class

Day 35: Got my car towed... No biggie

SO went to boxing this mourning and had a great work out but for some reason I decided to park on a different and that street was unavialble to park at during rush hour so I had to walk in the cold after a hard work out to get my car back , after i paid the fine I went to work ou and forgot all about it , also joined my good friends at flow 2 and since Kam brought his chocalat balls all of a sudden our class number doubled... coincidence I think not! The actual practice itself was awesome not gonna lie kind of felt awkward have two girls spotting me while in full wheel but the height I got was amazing. and to close things off probably should be writing this last part but I`m just way too happy right now , I just had like 7 riduculouly very attractive girls that I havnt talked to in awhile ask me when I teach next(one of them I use to have the biggest crush but that was like 2 years ago ) anyways so thers a little personal info for the peeps that still read my blog , much love y`all

Day 34: You want some Latino Heat?

As you can see not all my titles make sense but since we got 100 days of this I figure i would creative plus it`s the shirt I wore today.... anyways starting off with lots of stairs during boxing , then had my little cry fest via biggest loser and then took a nap, afterwards I felt great and did an intense arm work out and then taught the 5:30 which went by really well , with still some gas left in the tank I decided to take Robin hot flow which was really slow and intense and got my first yoga high in awhile , I went to safeway an hour later and the cashier asked if I had just smoked a joint .. too funny anyways sooo tired and happy right now must be up for boxing tomorrow tho

Day 33: Lisa and I share .....THE FEAR

Today started off early and then I ended up heading back to sleep around 10 then at noon went to a boxing class , so it was back to back classes without doing stair(wooo) but I am gonna feel it bad tomorrow, afterwards I did a pretty dec chest workout and then came yoga class.... Flow 2 very fun with a 6 returning cast members joined by orginals were unable to join us last week , it was a wicked fun time doing a shivanunda class. The....Fear! came when we were trying to do flying peacock(not 100% that what we were aiming for) and Lisa and I had the initial fear of placing our feet in the air and then behind us , nena helped to get up my feet them and it wasn`t so bad, so then I did the same for Lisa , and we told ot attempt it once more and I was able to get my legs on my own for the first time , which gave me an extreme since of accomplishment , really good day 33!

Day 32: A great day to get kicked in the head

Actually I felt awesome today , I did a fairly good boxing class followed by teaching a moksha 75 , after all the excitement I was able to get in a really great nap and a package got delivered to my house containing shirts I plan to wear while teaching and working out , one of the shirts says "can you stand the heat on the back" so eha great times. Got to do a shoulder work out and when I got to the studio it looks like my friends wern`t doing to well but nothing a yoga class couldn`t fix , great hatha job by Nena while in the process get kicked in the head by sean kingston buddy J.R , overall things went well for me and I hope same goes for tomorrow

Sunday, January 31, 2010

Day 31: craziest dancer`s pose I have ever seen!

Well I started off the day with some intense boxing and was able to suqeeze in a quick nap before teach two 90 minute classes , before teaching the second class jennifer macdonald told me she came to my specifically because she had never been to it before and since she is apart of the royal winnipeg ballet she was able to hold the craziest dancer`s pose I had ever seen , overall the class went really well and Jacklyn was great as always making people lie down in an 8 minute savasana , talk about skill , I was so impressed by Jacklyn`s music I stayed for hatha class and enjoyed doing a practice of my own !

Day 30 Teaching beginners

Well I got to do something I hadnt done in a long time which was sleep in! I got to sleep til about 11 and then I taught my first ever class at shapes , I had to almost do the whole yoga class because every was very notice to the practice of yoga , the room wasn`t really heated but the fact i was able to teach people felt awesome and at the end of namaste I had a girl yell to me THAT WAS AMAZING!

Saturday, January 30, 2010

Day 29: I need a hero to save me now

All is well up in here guys! Was so beat from friday then I just fell asleep in front of the tv before midnight , so I made it to boxing which was the first time i was able to make it to every mourning class offered in one week then went to work , felt beat so I took a nap a skipped the gym today , felt nice did a little clothing shopping and got some super hero marvel shirts that i plan to wear during work outs and then still had tons of energy to teach both sold out classes! Overall very good day and I took extra meditation time in savasana... WHAT UP!

Thursday, January 28, 2010

Day 28: All is well again , possibly best day of the challenge

Alright started off the day with boxing very good work out very intense, then watched the AFC championship game and watched the colts(my favorite team win) then did a power lifting class that made my arms feel great then worked out some legs after wards , after that I got myself some new yoga clothes! and did something that scares me (which will be talked about another day) after all the excite got to take a nice hour and twenty minute power nap then work up dealt with major traffic and missed flow 2.... didn`t even bother me , ended up taking my first philly d hot flow in about 6 months and taught some really solid classes according to the people that participated and also had two sister that I coached in high school come to my class as well. So overall the mood for me had just skyrocketed!

Wednesday, January 27, 2010

Day 27 : Just not feelin it

Did a boxing class , felt great then ,felt like I was making progress , watched biggest loser then went to work , work felt like such a drain and then went to dinner to celebrate my cousin who was staying with us for 6 months finally leaving(woo!) and then went on to work out(felt it was sort of wasted because it seemed like my work out partner just wouldn`t stop talking and jsut kept wasting time) but didn`t do an actual yoga practice ... I feel extremly bitter right now and crappy. So the possible factors is
1. Being at a job that frustrates me(I love moksha and I`m not talking about you !)
2. Not doing an actual yoga practice
3. Being sleep deprieved
4. Having to shovel the snow in the back when the entire family uses the lot
5. Working out with a partner who takes his time and can talk taking 3-5 minute breaks making
a work out last almost an hour an half

Ok I let my rant out , I feel a little better but not really , I `m gonna shower up , sleep and we`ll see if I make it to 6:45am boxing class with Lisa , over at out current 12:35

Tuesday, January 26, 2010

Day 26: Setting the bar high almost freaks me out

Well after staying up super late last night I gathered up the energy to go to a power class at Shapes, it went rally well and the intructor gave me a few pointers afterwards , I felt pretty sluggish afterwards and went to a body talk session , I felt great after the session and then had to decide whether to nap or do flow 2 before I teach 2 classes later on in the evening .. I opted to do flow 2 and had tons of fun , so much fun I can name everyone in the class , Melissa , Jody, Lisa , Lauren, Kam and red head girl who has been to like every flow 2 class but i`m not sure if any of the previous people have talked to her, anyways well led class by Nena!I taught 2 classes tonight that I felt went pretty well and had a girl come up to me saying that my classes are her favorite and she wanted to know when I was teaching next , it felt really great that she got so much joy out of my class but a little nervous I won`t deliver and awesome to her everytime if people have their exspectations too high, Just as long as I don`t get too repetitive I think I should be fine

Day 25: Slippery when wet... it`s winnipeg actually slippery when frozen

The day started off with one of the more intensive boxing classes and we broke our breakfast club group`s number for stairs! afterwards I had to deal with really bad and dangerous traffic , after getting home safely I took a 10 minute nap and was off to work out my arms (since i was going out later tonight) and then had to rush to work. After work I did my first hot flow with Robin since her injury , the class was exactly what I needed before a night out to the pal , I probably won`t be back at the pal anytime soon but it wasn`t all that bad, really debating if I should wake up early to do a kick class ... oh man it`s almost 3am , peace

Day 24: The Peep show!! for the peeps by the peeps

Started off the day with one of my more intensive boxing classes with Kevin, running stairs continues to be the biggest challenge for me, afterwards I did the noon class and boxing intructor Terese also participated after boxing class, the yoga class was led by Leslee who stuck by a very vintage moksha class. Afterwards I taught the 1:30 community class felt that it went fairly well , the class also has another boxing intructor Matt Morgan and was later on told I would be teaching the music class. The class ws joined by many Moksha regulars and sold out right away , after an intense and being able to keep the entire class in savasana for an entire 5 minutes , I received an overwelming amount of confidence, also forget to mention last week I had an actress attend my class who has been in movie like Dawn of the dead, how to lose a guy in 10 days and welcome to mooseport. Life just keeps getting better being an intructor!

Day 23: Almost 5 hours in the hot room = gooooooooooooood nap

Started the day teaching an 8am Moksha class Ryann was able to attend and ALi and Jason joined in on the fun as well, it was really nice share one more moment with them before they leave for Denver , afterwards I taught a 90 minute class that went extremly well and recieved several positive comments , really makes me happy that I became a yoga instructor. After teaching i decided to take a quick stop at home and then join 5 of my teamates for hip hop yoga , it was a blast and had lots of fun sharing good times with people I have gotten to known within the last few months since I got back from training , the positivity level is at all time high right now!

Day 22: Got to teach my first moksha flow!

Started the day off with an intense boxing class with Lisa then afterwards I was suppose to be teaching a double at Waverley, after hearing Moksha intructors Philly D and Sam getting named dropped on the radio for their contributions to Haiti , I was told that the 2 classes I am suppose to teach was at Donald. The classes went great , especially since I got to teach my first Moksha flow and I hope to teach more in the future, I received a really great review from Jen Penner who usually doubles almost everyday and I hope she one day starts teaching as well, after an amazing 3 hour power nap I got up to teach the 8 pm at waverley and ran into someone I hadn`t seen since grade 8 , so overall everything fell into place and celebrated with a little ebay shopping :) very excited to teach the mourning classes which i will later write about since i missed typing in my blog via ebay distracted!

Thursday, January 21, 2010

Day 21: Starting to feel tired

Started off with intense boxing with Lisa and just felt beat and had to head to head to work ,after work it was time for flow 2 and I can honestly say barely remember the class because I was so fatigue , i really wasn`t sure what was bothering me , ended up staying in savasana longer then I intended that I missed a power lifting class at Shapes, so I did a chest work out instead and finished the night off with lots of pizza and the finale of Jersey shore , I`m sure tomorrow will go better , gonna do a 6 am boxing class and teaching 3 moksha tomorrow starting at 9 am , sleep shall be near

Wednesday, January 20, 2010

Day 20: So long Ted and Paula

I had to say my final good bye to both of them today , at 6am I did a solid boxing class with lots of stairs(I hate stairs) and then go to take my final Paula Romkey class before she left Winnipeg , she really added her own spin to Moksha which I thought was very created which is why she`s standing strong with her studio in Ottawa and possibly another one on the way. Kind of felt sluggish the rest of the day and really thought about quitting my job (not Moksha ! the other place) but we`ll see , I just got back from a late night workout at 11 pm and I bought some Kashi bars afterwards , not eating them because eating late is not cool! alright i`ll blog tomorrow!

Tuesday, January 19, 2010

Day 19 : Great class Ted

This mourning I started the day off with a kick class then I went to the gym at 1 pm to workout my back, afterwards I had to make it to the studio super early because the founder of Moksha was teaching, this was a filled class that indeed packed well over 60 people, I was also in between two challengers Mellie and Melissa also the class punched many familiar faces including moksha instructors Ryann , Jason and Mesia. afterwards I just chilled out at the calm unity cafe and had a chance to talk to Paula Romkey , it was nice to get to know her for the short time she stayed in Winnipeg I look forward to taking my final class with her right after 6am boxing , namaste

Day 18:Waiting a year and 10 months was worth it!

Had my alarm set up for 6 am but just didn`t have the energy to do boxing , so I slept in til 10am , which just made my body feel well rested and then I went for an intense arm work out followed by a long awaited class with Paula Romkey , The back story to this was that Paula left moksha winnipeg right before I started going there and I would always see her on the website and I kept wondering what it was like to take one of her classes , well the wait was worth it and got to experience of the best savasanas of the challenge! After a typical at work later I got to listen to the Guru of greatness himself Ted Grand talk about what he loves best , very excited to take his class tomorrow

Sunday, January 17, 2010

Day 17: Chillin wit my boi Ted!

Woke up this mourning and did boxing class , felt very good but got a little tired after and it was cool that I ran into Nena`s husband there but didn`t find out til the very end. Instead of watching the big football games I taught the 1:30 class and then got to teach my first Moksha Music , I just have to say that Jacklyn is amazing and has an awesome voice, I would love to teach those classes again ! It was also nice to see Kendra,Carolyn and Ella attend for their challenge. Afterwards I went to the Ted Grand posture workshop with fellow challengers Lisa , Amelia ,Sally and Mika! after an awesome and healthy pot luck I chilled and watch snl digital shorts with Philly d , Paula Romkey(moksha yoga ottawa) and the man himself Ted Grand , I love how everyone can just be themselves and be considered yogies, gooooood times!

Day 16: Still sick but felt better after class

SO did the first class of hte mourning led by my good buddy Monica , class went well and then I had to work 8 hours which was quite a struggle but the day went by decently after wards I watched my pick to win the superbowl win the game , well kindo f did , I fell asleep during the 3rd quarter, most exciting news is that I just got word I will teach the music class tomorrow, very excited , must sleep to try to get over this sickness ,peace

Saturday, January 16, 2010

Day 15: Energy level low

Alrighty worked at 7-3 , then got to catch up with my good friend Joanna at the Yoga studio since shes an energy exchanger , took a wicked class from Philly D who ispired me to talk about haiti during my class later tonight . I should of went home after staying in savasana a good 15 minutes(I`ll admit lots of it was sleep I was unaware of) But I decided to do a chest workout which was really good but I just had no energy to do anything later , I think the largest mistake was going to long without eating. So anyways I later had to teach and went really well and I have my fifth boxing intructor attend , fellow 100 day challenger melissa and lots of long time going moksha yogies are actual long term members , also got to witness the return of Jamie Rutherford which was nice, rock on team

Thursday, January 14, 2010

Day 14 : Nothing like a 10 minute nosebleed

Still sick and coughing but I missed the last couple of thursday mourning boxing classes so I was up and ready for this one , super intense even without doing stairs, at 9 30 came another power class my right tricep could no longer do over head reps(hmmm good pain!) after that i did a calf and hamstring workout , after taking the best 10 min nap ever , i worked at safeway til 8 15 then rushed over to go to yin class , very happy to see challengers Lane , Myriam and Kelly attend with good ole JR working the desk . Somewhere during the day there was a 10 minute nosebleed luckily it was at work with no customers around so it felt like a second break , must be up at 6 am to head to work and then doing a moksha 2 class!

Wednesday, January 13, 2010

Day 13 : Simply over worked?

Well all my post seem to repetitive so straight up 7-12 work , 1-2 gym (shoulder workout) , 430-530 power lifting class (complete body workout) , 7-8 boxing class , 9 -10 hatha class , after boxing class I started experiencing some chest pain , not dure if my chest is just sore or if my heart is over worked, I was unable to stay awake for final savasana and ended up being the first one out in fear just sleeping for a solid 30min , anyways practice is right on track , must sleep soon to make 6 am boxing , be the change!

Tuesday, January 12, 2010

Day 12: Starting to get sick

Last night I ended up with really bad coughing before I went to bed , I really hope I didn`t catch anything, Started the day off at 8 am and went to a group kick class , the class was like step class and even though I was once again the only guy the average age I would have to say was 35. The class was indeed very good for a cardio and I think I will try this class once again. I kind of just chilled out until noon then went to a boxing class that was led by an intructor I havnt had before names Matt Morgan , very nice guy and he plans to take a class at the studio on Wednesday. After the boxing class I went to the gym and did a pretty intense back workout , after a few hours of rest I was off to flow 2, which a very fun class and I love it because the majority of the time there are familar faces so shouts out to Lauren , Melissa , Kam ,Matt and Jody , can`t seem to avoid a class without seeing them five (it was good to see fellow challenger Lisa also) afterwards I went out to Smittys and watch the movie Armored , I am now coughing like crazy , I do hope I get better wouldn`t want to fall behind in the challenge, peace!

Monday, January 11, 2010

Day 11: Body talk

Monday mourning started off with some very intense boxing and then rushed to Shapes to take my first group step class, I had no idea what this class was all about , I was just hoping for a great cardio workout and it went pretty decent (i don`t think it was as big of a challenge because my heart rate was up from boxing) but it was pretty awkward since the average age was probably 50 and I was the only male participant. After getting a hair cut( no more vegas hair) I did a Moksha flow taught by Leslee , the class was extremly different from the one I took from her on Friday but still very satisfying and well done, glad im taking classes from such great moksha intructors in order for me to try to enhance my skills.

Because of the lifestyles pass I decided to use the body talk coupon ,the session went great and I got a really good rest from it, also taught it was really cool that I was reconize from Moksha instantly by the person doing it. I was also told that I should take a break from the from the gym today because I told her i was planning on lifting weights but after the session it was recommended I give my body a rest for the night. Which is what I`m doing :) I guess a break for the body is well needed so I will make an effort to be safe with what I am doing in terms of work outs.

Sunday, January 10, 2010

Day 10 : Starting off the day right

Well after staying up til 3am last night just watching random stuff on tv , I went to bed thinking tomorrow is my rest day , no yoga , no gym , no boxing... right before bed I set my alarm at for 9:10am to make a game time decision about it , after pressing the button three times ,Im like I didn`t drink last night so what excuse is there? So I went to Pan Am boxing and took a class from Gino(who recently got himself a 20 class pass , his first class was mine!) and felt great and still had energy so off to Moksha to take the noon class. Nena did an amazing job and really set a great intention to not let other people`s practice distract you from your own . I`m gonna give full credit to my peeps that I hung out with last night is the reason that I decided to get active this beautiful not that cold Sunday mourning , I hope everyone feels positive after their respective classes today. VIVA LA RAZA

Saturday, January 9, 2010

Day 9: Being part of a true team

Feeling extremly tired ,probably because of all the 6 am boxing classes and the staying up til 3 am I woke up at 11 feeling ready for a little bit of activity. So I did a class called centergy at Shapes not knowing what to exspect later found out it was 80% yoga and 20% pilates , the class was done to upbeat music and once again it seemed like I was the only guy in there (the sign said co-ed!). After class I was chatting with the instructor and she seemed really impressed with my practice , she gave me her e-mail and number and plans to attend a Moksha class in the near future. at 1:30 it was time to head to Moksha and do a class upstairs with the staff and later on having a meeting , the class was led by Leslee and we all seemed to have enjoyment in the overall practice. After the meeting I needed a solid power nap and I got one! Afterwards I got together with some of the fellow 100 day challengers ,Finally got to meet Ella`s baby boy! a couple of us stayed after a competitive game of scatergories (did you know jungles grow ) Mika ,Jessica , Colette and Lisa (hey Lisa did you notice the order) had too much enjoyment chatting up a storm for 2 hours that we didn`t end up starting another game , it`s super great to know that we are all very dedicated to our asana and have full trust in each other with the stories and experiences we share. Like the famous Frank Couzo said (actually played by James Earl Jones)

"A team is not a team, if you don`t give a damn about one another"

Day 8 : Teaching the best class yet

Had a very busy day fist off 6 am boxing with Tom got the heart rate up for sure , later did moksha flow with Leslee who really did a great job making it a very different class and then later on tonight teaching one of my finest classes with 60+ people in the room , it was insane and hot ,I had to put it down to 30 and it still felt crazy , everyone stayed in a left smiling which was the ultimate accomplishment, Had to keep this blog a little shorter since im heading out for Joanna `s bday , woo woo woo you know it! No worries team I`m DD tonight!

Thursday, January 7, 2010

Day 7 ; Reconnecting with a yogi from the vegas training

Well this mourning did not go to smooth for me , I woke up at 6am wanting to go to boxing but then when i pressed the snooze button from the extra 5 minutes nap ,I woke up at 6 31 and decided to sleep in , got to sleep in til 9:30am , oh what joy! after worrying about my car and how much it will cost replace the bumper ,I had to endure a really rough day at work where 2 staff members suddenly had to leave because they were sick and another just no showed, once work was finish and having to deal with traffic I went to shapes with my buddy Stephane and we decided to try a class called power (so a weightlifting class) and it was like 25 girls and us (talk about yoga class atmosphere) except I actually felt really weird about being there , anyways by the end the class was very challenging that I know next time I must start up with a lower weight but felt amazing and left with a big smile , later on i was very tempted to go home and eat , I decided to stop at safeway instead and bought granolla bars to hold me off before yin class, Sherri was extremly helpful during the class and I ended up falling asleep during pigeon on the left side . During savasana I had many random thoughts like I`m talking from 1985 bears to just important african figures that changed history (must work on staying more present ... technically i guess I am ) also saw that many fellow challengers attended the 9 pm Leslee led class ,G0 TEAM .
Since being back from my Vegas training after the first month I had almost lost contact with most of the people from training , it`s pretty tough since none of them were from Winnipeg which is why I am that much more excited that Ted is coming to the studio. Well at about 11 pm one of my fellow moksha classmates(Kayleigh the only one that was younger then me and which I could picture being on a reality show just being the one to speak her mind and she pulled empire records style and shaved her head right before training , I seriously gave this girl made props!overall not your typical girly girl with a wicked sense of humor and someone you would find it hard to be bored with ) decided to message me and it really made me remember how much of a great time I had down there and how much of good thing went on. Which really makes me glad we started this 100 day challenge thing because it brings me to mentality that we are all different and unique and yet still all practicing yoga together for a certain periode of time, so thank you Moksha community for keeping me in tact and making me appreciate life (through the good and tought moments ) every step of the way

Wednesday, January 6, 2010

Day 6 : Motivated from a friend in NC

Well I have realize my blogs have been more about my everyday life and not too much detail about my actual yoga practice, I think Im gonna continue with this format but for my personal practice today it was quite a challenge it was a full house led by Cheif Clancy :) it was very challenging , earlier in the day I went to 6am boxing class then went to work standing at safeway , went to the gym and did an arm workout with my gym partner Stephane(who many of you have met ) and then did a bunch of chattarungas and backbends . Well anyways I`m motivated now to turn this into a weight loss challenge thanks to a trainer at boxing names Tom and an e-mail from Christa , she recommended I use this site to try to set a goal , not like any of you need to shed any but the site is www.fitday.com , I guess we`ll where this challenge leads us ,I mean who would of thunk I would become an intructor , I hope everyone will experience some sort of change by the end of this challenge. Day 5 : the fantastic mr fox

Well after my hecktic day yesterday instead of having a good nights rest ,I decided to go to limelite with a couple of friends, good news is I didn`t even drink a sip of alc , bad news I was out til 3:30am, so I didn`t wake up for mourning class as planned but I ended up doing the 4pm class and joined some of my fellow teamates for flow 2 upstairs(sorry that I made you guys wait an extra minute for me) , So now I am officially caught up !!! Spent the rest of the evening going to the gym (where a girl recognized me as her yoga intructor on sunday ,yay!) and then watching the fantastic Mr. Fox , I plan to sleep soon so I can make it to 6 am boxing :) keep up the good work y`all

Day 4

I woke up rather early and decided to do the 9 30am class , it was led by our cheerleader clancy and she dedicated the fire abs part of the workout to me, after that I did a noon workout class at pan am boxing and used the money i made at Blush to pay for half my year membership, after that I went to the gym and decided to work out muscles that don`t really get worked out (traps and obliques mostly) and I was off to work. Work ended at about 7 15 and I was abled to make to hot flow taught by once again The Clancy! still behing but I shall catch up soon and we`ll all make sure we celebrate right once we reach 100, Woo Woo Woo you know it!

Day 3: Teaching 3 Moksha classes in a row

This was my first Moksha triple and the fifth time I taugh a non community class , I felt that the classes went really well and I`m really coming into my own as a yoga intructor . It`s a great feeling to know that you just made someone else `s day that much brighter , I also decided to rap for the first time in class( pretty good for vinyasa flow series) but yeah I usually don`t rap . So after teaching the third class I felt very fatigue since you can`t really eat much before teaching a yoga class ,so after number 3 I called it a day and ended up crashing pretty early in the night.

Day 2

So still feeling tired from working new years eve , I ended up waking at noon rather then my planned 930 am and I had to work at 5, it came to a decision to if I would go to the final yoga class of the day or the gym and I opted to work out via shapes. I am very determain to make this goal with you guys and I see myself doubleing up quite a bit. Go team!

Day 1:

Well , well after working at Blush Ultra club til 6am and then going out for some solid Mcky d`s after wards , I someone had to try to make myself go to class despite waking up to the surroundings around me and only get a weak 3 and half hours of sleep. I did do class and brought a co worker with me and both had lots of fun especially since Keith can really sing well and he chose a great variety of music. I was a little bit worried at first since I only saw one fellow challenger but then I read that a solid 4 ended up going to Waverley :). This is a positive start , Chapter 1 to a new beginning (cheezy title to the Moffast debut album... why do i know that)
